Dear Teen Me,

Hey, I know it has not been that long since I saw you last...about a year ago...but I need to tell you something of great importance.

You know that hell hole you call "High School"?
Cherish it, because you're not gonna see a lot of those people again.
At least not everyday.

And try to listen to your Aunt, I know she is...overbearing sometimes, but she really does mean well and she will become one of your best friends.

Do NOT take what friends you do see for granted.
They are your brothers (You know who I am talking about)

Oh yea, and DO NOT take shit from anyone.
You are not a doormat okay?!

Embrace who you are and never try to be someone else.
Because lets admit it...We are freaking awesome.

We have had a rough ride as a teenage orphan, but somehow we got through it without getting our self kicked out, or killed...
So we must have done something right.

And, I know you miss them...I miss them too.
I can barely remember their voices...But do not let it get you down. You are one of the strongest people I know Katherine Elizabeth! You can get through anything, even though at times it seems rather grim. You can do it.
You don't always have to do it by yourself.
Our friends and family love you and all they want is to see you do something good with your life as long as you are happy.
They won't judge you.
You are probably thinking, "When I get older I am just gonna look back at myself and say 'What in the hell was I thinking?'"...
But I do not think that.
We made decisions for a reason, and If we did not then things may have changed completely.
I would not change you or me for anything...
Except, when you move out, keep taking your medication.
Your laziness gained me some weight that I would rather not have.

Oh and when you move to Alabama just try not to get into to much.
I don't know how this time-space continuum thing works...
Eh do whatever the hell you want. You are going to anyways.

I know you already know this, but be super ready for the upcoming zombie apocalypse!
Some cardio would help, because honestly we are sprinters not cross-country runners.
Get in a fight too!!
Or not, never mind actually, let me handle that.

Practice, practice, practice.
Anatomy may seem like a far off dream,
but believe me we are getting the hang of it.
(Although it is FAR from perfect.)

You will never stop loving Him, but you will fall in love again.


And yes, He is the one. Marry Him.

Mom and Dad would be proud of you.

Other than that just do not have any regrets, because there is no such thing as making up for lost time.

Or sleep, you cannot make up for sleep.
